Allah’s Attributes

Allah’s Signs

Those who lack knowledge say, 'Why does Allah not speak to us directly or send us a sign?' Those before them said the same; their hearts are alike. We have made the signs clear for those who have certainty. 2:118

Signs for people of sure faith. 45:4, 51:20

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, the alternation of night and day, the ships that sail the seas for the benefit of humanity, the rain sent down to revive the earth, the creatures scattered across it, the shifting of the winds, and the clouds held between heaven and earth, these are signs for those who reflect. 2:164, 3:190

He explains His signs for those who understand. 10:5, 13:2

See how We clarify the signs, so that they may understand. 6:65, 57:17

Indeed, in these are signs for people who believe. 6:99, 15:77, 16:79, 27:86, 29:24, 29:44, 30:37, 39:52, 45:3

We have made the signs clear for those who understand. 6:97, 16:12, 20:54, 20:128, 30:22, 30:24

And We left it as a sign, so is there any who will take heed? 32:26, 54:15

In this are signs for those who listen. 10:67, 30:23

Surely in this are signs for those who contemplate. 15:75

In this are signs for those who reflect. 13:3, 16:11, 16:69, 30:21, 39:42, 45:13

In this are signs for those who reason. 2:164, 13:4, 45:5

Surely in that is a lesson for those with insight. 24:44

In this are signs for those who are patient 14:5, 31:31, 34:19, 42:33

Signs for those who are mindful. 10:6, 16:13

This is how We clarify the signs for those who are grateful. 7:58, 14:5, 31:31, 34:19, 42:33

Surely in that are signs, and We always test. 23:30, 32:26

Surely this is a sign, but most of them do not believe. 26:121

Allah's Favour/Blessings

Remember His favour upon you 3:103, 33:9

Remember Allah’s blessings and the covenant He made with you when you said, “We hear and obey.” 5:7,

That you may mount their backs, and remember your Lord’s favor as you sit firmly upon them, saying, “Glory be to Him who placed these at our service, we could not have done so on our own.” 43:13

Remember His blessings upon you and the wisdom He has sent down for your guidance. 2:231

O humanity, remember Allah’s blessings upon you. 35:3

If not for Allah’s grace and mercy upon you, a group among them would have led you astray. 4:113

Yet after that, you turned away. Had it not been for Allah’s grace and mercy, you would have surely been lost. 2:64, 24:10

If not for Allah’s grace and mercy, you would have followed Satan, except for a few. 4:83

Every blessing you enjoy comes from Him. Yet when hardship touches you, you cry out to Him alone. 16:53

Whatever mercy Allah opens up for people, no one can withhold. And whatever He withholds, no one else can release. 35:2

Allah favours whomever He wills among His servants. 14:11

His favour upon you is truly great. 17:87

And be grateful for His blessings, if you truly worship Him. 16:114

If you tried to count Allah’s blessings, you could never enumerate them 14:34, 16:18

That is Allah’s favour, granted to whom He wills. 2:90, 5:54

Remember when Moses said to his people, “O my people! Recall Allah’s favour upon you 5:20

So, which of your Lord’s wonders will you deny? 55:13, 55:16, 55:18, 55:21, 55:23, 55:25, 55:28, 55:30, 55:32, 55:34, 55:36, 55:38, 55:40, 55:42, 55:45, 55:47, 55:49, 55:51, 55:53, 55:55, 55:57, 55:59, 55:61, 55:63, 55:65, 55:67, 55:69, 55:71, 55:73, 55:75, 55:77

Allah's Will

Allah does as He wills. 2:253, 14:27, 22:18, 22:14

Allah extends provision to whom He wills and restricts it. 29:62, 30:37, 39:52

Say, ‘All bounty is in Allah’s hand, He grants it to whomever He wills. 3:73, 57:29

Allah multiplies for whomever He wills 2:261

In Allah’s victory, He grants triumph to whom He wills. 30:5

Allah gives kingship to whomever He wills 2:247

It is Allah who elevates whoever He wills 4:49, 24:21

But Allah chooses whom He wills for His mercy 2:105

He grants wisdom to whomever He wills, and whoever receives wisdom has been granted immense goodness. Yet only those with understanding take heed 2:269

But you cannot will unless Allah wills. 76:30, 81:29

He grants His favour to whomever He wills. 2:90, 14:11, 24:38

The earth belongs to Allah; He grants it to whomever He wills. 7:128

He chooses messengers for this knowledge as He wills. 3:179

Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself those who turn to Him. 42:13

Allah guides whomever He wills to the Straight Path. 2:213, 2:142, 2:213, 2:272, 5:16, 6:39, 7:178, 10:25, 24:35, 28:56, 39:23

This is Allah’s guidance, by which He guides whomever He wills among His servants. 6:88, 39:23

He sends the Spirit by His command to whomever He wills among His servants, to warn of the Day of Meeting. 40:15

Whoever Allah misguides, you will find no way for them. 4:88, 7:186, 14:4, 14:27, 42:44, 42:46

If He wills, He removes your distress. Yet you forget Him when relief comes. 6:41

He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills 2:284, 3:129, 4:116, 5:18, 5:40, 9:15, 29:21, 30:11, 48:14

Allah accepts repentance from whomever He wills. 9:15

Those who associate others with Allah will say, “Had Allah willed, we would not have worshipped others, nor would our forefathers, nor would we have forbidden anything.” Likewise, those before them denied until they tasted Our punishment. Say, “Do you have any knowledge to support this? You follow only assumptions and fabricate lies.” 6:148, 16:35

Allah's Choice

Your Lord creates and chooses whatever He wills. They have no choice in the matter. 28:68

Allah's Bounty

Satan threatens you with poverty and commands you to commit indecency, while Allah promises you forgiveness and abundance. 2:268

If Allah afflicts you with hardship, none can remove it except Him. And if He wills good for you, none can prevent His favour. He grants it to whomever He wills among His servants. 10:107

Say, ‘All bounty is in Allah’s hand, He grants it to whomever He wills.' 3:73, 57:29, 62:4

Say, “In Allah’s grace and mercy, let them rejoice, it is better than all they accumulate.” 10:58

Out of His mercy, He made for you the night and the day, so you may rest and seek His bounty, and so you may be grateful. 28:73, 30:23

He made the sea serve you, so you may eat from it tender meat and extract ornaments to wear. You see ships ploughing through it as you seek His bounty, so that you may be grateful. 16:14, 17:66, 30:46, 35:12, 45:12

Your Lord is the One who makes ships sail the seas so you may seek His bounty. 17:66, 30:46

There is no blame in seeking the bounty of your Lord during pilgrimage. 2:198

Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger will be among those whom Allah has blessed, the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. 4:69

That is the bounty from Allah. 4:70, 35:32, 44:57, 49:8

As for those who believe and do good, He will grant them their reward in full and increase them in His bounty. 4:173

So that He may reward those who believe and do good from His bounty. He does not love the disbelievers. 30:45

As for those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him, He will admit them into His mercy and grace and guide them straight to Himself. 4:175

Give glad tidings to the believers that they will receive immense grace from Allah. 33:47

And they say, ‘Only trust those who follow your faith.’ Say, ‘True guidance is Allah’s guidance.’ If they fear that someone else may receive knowledge like theirs or argue against them before their Lord, say, ‘All bounty is in Allah’s hand, He grants it to whomever He wills. 3:73

“He is the One who settled us in the Home of Everlasting Peace, by His grace. 35:35

He will give them their full reward and increase them from His bounty. 35:30

Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His messengers. That is Allah’s grace, which He grants to whom He wills. He is the Lord of infinite bounty. 57:21

Know that your wealth and children are a test, and with Allah is a great reward. 9:28

To all, We extend provision, both to these and those. But the bounty of your Lord is not restricted. 17:20

Men will have their share of what they earn, and women will have their share of what they earn. Ask Allah for His bounty. 4:32

Surely your Lord is full of grace toward humanity, but most of them are ungrateful. 27:73, 40:61

If fortune comes your way, they say, as if no bond ever existed between you, ‘Oh, I wish I had been with them to gain such success!’. 4:73

If only they had been content with what Allah and His Messenger gave them and said, “Allah is sufficient for us. He will grant us from His bounty, and so will His Messenger. To Allah alone we turn with hope.” 9:59

Some among them pledged to Allah, saying, “If He grants us wealth, we will surely give charity and be righteous.” 9:75

But when He gave them wealth, they became stingy and turned away in defiance. 9:76

Those who are stingy and encourage others to be stingy, hiding what Allah has given them 4:37

Those who hoard wealth and refuse to spend in Allah’s cause should not think it is good for them. Rather, it will be a burden around their necks on the Day of Judgment. 3:180

Allah's Provision

Say, “Have you considered the provisions Allah has sent down for you, which you have divided into lawful and unlawful?” Say, “Did Allah permit this, or do you invent lies against Him?”. 10:59

Eat what is lawful and good from what Allah has provided. 5:88, 16:114

And that He enriches and satisfies, 53:48

Allah is gentle with His servants; He provides for whomever He wills. 42:19

You provide for whomever You will without limit.’ 3:27

Allah extends provision abundantly or restricts it for whomever He wills. 13:26, 17:30, 28:82, 29:62, 30:37, 34:36, 34:39, 39:52, 42:12

Allah has favoured some of you over others in provision. Yet those who are given more do not share their wealth equally with their dependents. Will they then deny Allah’s blessings? 16:71

Every creature on earth depends on Allah for sustenance. He knows where it dwells and where it rests. 11:6

Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We shall increase it for him. 42:20

Allah's Reward

What you have will perish, but what is with Allah remains. We will reward those who are patient with the best of what they used to do. 16:96

Whoever seeks the rewards of this world should know that Allah holds the rewards of both this life and the next. 4:134

With Allah is a great reward. 64:15

Allah will reward the grateful. 3:144

These will receive a great reward. 4:162

But those who stand in awe of their unseen Lord, for them is forgiveness and a great reward. 67:12

The greatest reward is Allah’s pleasure. 9:72

Allah is with you and will never deprive you of your deeds. 47:35

He never lets the reward of the faithful go to waste. 3:171

So, believe in Allah and His messengers, if you do, and remain mindful, you will receive a great reward. 3:179

Allah multiplies for whomever He wills, 2:261

If there is good, He multiplies it and grants from His reward. 4:40

If you obey, Allah will grant you a fine reward. 48:16

He granted you all that you asked for. If you tried to count Allah’s blessings, you could never enumerate them. 14:34

We reward those who do good. 6:84

Marry off the single among you and the righteous among your servants. If they are poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty. 24:32

Allah's Strategy

When We grant people mercy after hardship, they plot against Our signs. Say, “Allah is swifter in plotting.” Our messengers record all they plot. 10:21

They plotted, but their schemes are known to Allah, even if their plans could move mountains. 14:46

They plotted, but Allah also plotted, and Allah is the best of plotters. 3:54, 8:30, 27:50

So, observe the outcome of their plot. We destroyed them and their people altogether. 27:51

Those before them plotted, but ultimate plotting belongs to Allah. He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know who will have the final home. 13:42

Whether We show you part of what We promise them or take you in death, your duty is only to convey, and Ours is the reckoning. 13:40

Is He not the One who responds to the desperate when they call upon Him, removes their hardship, and makes you inheritors of the earth? 27:62

Is He not the One who guides you through the darkness of land and sea, and sends the winds as good news before His mercy? 27:63

Allah is swift in reckoning. 2:202, 3:19

Remember when you were on the near side of the valley, and they were on the far side, with the caravan below you. 8:42

Allah showed them to you in your dream as few. Had He shown them as many, you would have faltered and disputed in the matter. But Allah saved you, He knows what is within hearts. 8:43

And when you met them, He made them appear few in your eyes, and made you appear few in theirs, so that Allah might fulfil His decree. To Allah all matters return. 8:44

The hypocrites and those with diseased hearts said, “God and His Messenger promised us nothing but deception.” 33:12

Allah Saves

Call upon your Lord humbly and privately. He does not love the transgressors. 7:55

Your Lord says, "Call upon Me, and I will respond to you. 40:60

So, call upon Him with sincere devotion. Praise be to Allah. 40:65

Say: Who rescues you from the darkness of land and sea, when you call upon Him in desperation, saying, "If You save us, we will surely be grateful"? 6:63

Say: It is Allah who delivers you from it and from every distress, yet still, you associate others with Him. 6:64

No intercessor exists except by His permission. 7:54

Say: He has the power to send punishment upon you from above or below, or to divide you into factions, making you taste the conflict among yourselves. 6:65

Then We save Our messengers and those who believe. It is Our duty to save the faithful. 10:103

Allah Loves

Allah loves those who do good. 2:195, 3:134, 3:148, 5:13, 5:93

Allah loves the righteous. 9:4, 9:7, 3:76

Allah loves the steadfast. 3:146

Allah loves the just. 5:42, 49:9, 60:8

Truly, Allah loves those who fight in His cause as one solid rank. 61:4

Allah loves those who rely on Him. 3:159

Allah loves those who turn to Him and those who purify themselves. 2:222, 9:108

Allah Does Not Like

Allah does not love the transgressors. 2:190, 5:87, 7:55

Allah does not love corruption. 2:205

He does not love the sinful disbelievers. 2:276

Allah does not love the disbelievers. 3:32, 30:45

Allah does not love the wrongdoers. 3:57, 3:140, 42:40

Allah does not love the arrogant and boastful. 4:36

Allah does not love public expressions of evil, except by those who have been wronged. 4:148

Allah does not love the corrupt. 5:64, 28:77

Do not be excessive, for Allah does not love those who waste. 6:141

Allah does not love the treacherous. 8:58

Allah's Forgiveness

Race toward forgiveness from your Lord. 3:133

Seek forgiveness from Allah. 4:106

Seek forgiveness from your Lord and turn to Him in repentance. He will grant you a good life for a set term and bestow His grace upon those who do good. 11:3, 11:90

Allah has promised those who believe and do good a great reward. 5:9

Whoever commits wrongdoing or harms themselves but then seeks Allah’s forgiveness will find Him Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 4:110

But to those who commit wrong out of ignorance, then repent and reform, your Lord is Forgiving. 4:149, 16:119

Allah has pardoned such matters. 5:101

He will set your deeds right and forgive your sins. 33:71

He has granted them (believers) ranks of honour, forgiveness, and mercy. 4:96

Allah accepts repentance from whomever He wills. 9:15

Allah promises you forgiveness and abundance. 2:268

He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. 2:284, 3:129, 5:40

Allah has pardoned what is past, but whoever repeats it, Allah will exact justice from them. 5:95

No Forgiveness

Allah does not forgive those who associate partners with Him, but He forgives anything else for whomever He wills. Whoever sets up partners with Allah has strayed far. 4:116, 5:72

But repentance is not for those who persist in wrongdoing until death approaches and they say, ‘Now I repent,’ nor for those who die in disbelief. 4:119

Allah’s Promise

Allah has promised the best. 57:10

Allah’s promise is true. 4:122, 10:4, 10:55, 14:22, 18:21, 30:60, 31:9, 31:33, 35:5, 40:55, 40:77, 45:32, 46:17

Say, ‘Allah speaks the truth, so follow the way of Abraham, who was upright and never among the polytheists.’ 3:95

So be patient, Allah’s promise is true. Let not those who lack certainty unsettle you. 30:60

Whether We show you some of what We promised them or take you before it happens, their return is to Us. 10:46

Do not think that Allah will fail in His promise to His messengers. 14:47

What you are promised will surely come to pass, and you cannot escape. 6:134

He never fails in His promise. 13:31, 30:6, 39:20

Allah's Guidance

Say: Allah’s guidance is the true guidance, and we are commanded to submit to the Lord of all worlds. 6:71

Who measured and guided. 87:3

Whoever Allah guides is truly guided, but whoever He leaves astray will find no protector. 18:17

We showed him the path; whether he chooses gratitude or denial is his own. 76:3

Say, “To Allah belongs the ultimate argument. Had He willed, He would have guided you all.” 6:149, 16:9

This has been Allah’s way with those before, and you will find no change in His decree. 33:62

You’ll never find any change in Allah’s way. 35:43

Allah is not to be frustrated by anything in the heavens or the earth. 35:44

Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself those who turn to Him. 42:13

Allah guides whomever He wills to the Straight Path. 2:213, 2:272, 5:16, 7:178, 24:35, 28:56, 39:23

Had Allah willed, He could have made you one community, but He leaves some to stray and guides others. 16:93, 42:8, 76:31

This is Allah’s guidance, by which He guides whomever He wills among His servants. 6:88, 39:23

And whoever Allah guides, none can mislead. 39:37

Allah does not misguide a people after guiding them until He makes clear what they should avoid. 9:115

Whoever Allah guides is truly guided. 7:178

Say, “Allah guides to the truth. Is one who guides more worthy to be followed, or one who cannot guide unless guided himself? 10:35

Say: “If I go astray, I stray only to my own loss. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me." 34:50

Say, “Each acts according to his nature, but your Lord knows best who is rightly guided.” 17:84

No Guidance

Whoever Allah leaves to stray, none can guide. 4:143, 16:37, 30:29, 39:23

Those who reject Allah’s signs will not be guided. 16:104

Allah does not guide the disbelievers. 2:264, 3:86, 5:67, 9:37, 16:107

Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. 2:258, 3:86, 5:51, 6:144, 9:19, 9:109, 28:50, 46:10, 61:7, 62:5

Allah does not guide the rebellious. 5:108, 9:24, 9:80, 61:5, 63:6

He does not guide the deceitful. 39:3

Allah does not guide the transgressor." 40:28

Allah does not guide the schemes of the treacherous.” 12:52

Allah's Witness

Say, “What testimony is the greatest?” Say, “Allah is Witness between you and me. 6:19

Allah is witness to what they do. 10:46

Say, “Allah is sufficient as a witness between me and you. He knows and sees His servants.” 17:96, 29:52

Sufficient for believers 2:137, 3:173

“Allah is sufficient as a witness between us and you. We were unaware of your worship.” 10:29

Surely, Allah is witness over all things. 22:17

Allah's Curse

But those who persist in disbelief and die as deniers, upon them is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of humanity. 2:161

Their punishment is that upon them is Allah’s curse, as well as the curse of the angels and all of humanity. 3:87

If anyone argues with you after knowledge has come to you, say, ‘Come, let us gather ourselves and you, our children and your children, our women and your women, then let us sincerely pray and invoke Allah’s curse upon the liars.’ 3:61

Then a caller will proclaim, “May Allah’s curse be upon the wrongdoers. 7:44

So may Allah’s curse be upon the disbelievers. 2:89, 2:161, 11:18, 24:7

Allah's Argument

Say, “To Allah belongs the ultimate argument. 6:149

Allah's Command

The command of Allah has come, so do not hasten it. 16:1

Allah's Support

If Allah supports you, no one can overcome you. But if He abandons you, who else can help? So let the believers put their trust in Allah. 3:160, 11:123

Allah's Honour

Whoever seeks honour, know that all honour belongs to Allah. To Him ascends pure speech, and He elevates righteous action. 35:10

Not Cause Failure

Whoever does not respond to the caller of Allah will not escape on earth, and he will have no protectors besides Him. They are in clear error.” 46:32

know that you cannot escape Allah, neither on earth nor in the heavens. 9:2, 10:53, 29:22, 39:51, 42:31

We realized we could never escape Allah on earth, nor flee from Him by running. 8:59, 72:12

Allah's Character

Competent

He has power over all things. 2:20, 2:106, 2:109, 3:26, 3:29, 3:165, 3:189, 4:133, 4:149, 5:17, 5:19, 5:40, 5:120, 6:17, 16:70, 22:6, 29:20, 30:50, 30:54, 33:27, 35:44, 42:9, 42:29, 42:50, 57:2, 60:7, 64:1, 65:12, 66:8, 67:1

Allah is Most Capable of everything. 2:259, 2:284, 8:41, 9:39, 11:4, 16:77, 22:39, 24:45, 25:54, 35:1, 41:39, 46:33, 48:21, 59:6

He has the power to gather them whenever He wills. 42:29

He is the Most High. 2:255, 22:62, 31:30, 34:23, 40:12, 42:51, 87:1, 92:20

High above what they describe/associate with Him. 6:100, 9:31, 10:18, 16:1, 16:3, 17:43, 23:92, 27:63, 28:68, 30:40

Allah has the highest attributes. 16:60, 30:27

Truthful

The truth comes from your Lord, so do not be among those who doubt. 2:147, 3:60

the/ultimate Truth/Truthful in statement 4:87, 6:146, 10:30, 10:32, 18:44, 20:114, 22:6, 22:62, 23:116, 24:25

Say, “Truth has come from your Lord. Whoever wills, let him believe. 18:29

Say: “My Lord hurls the truth. 34:48

Say: “The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin nor restore anything.” 34:49

That is Allah, your true Lord. What is there beyond truth except error? 10:32

Protector and Helper

Say, “Shall I take a protector other than Allah. He feeds but is never in need of food.” 6:14

Every soul has a guardian watching over it. 86:4

Whoever Allah allows to stray will have no protector after Him. You will see the wrongdoers saying, “Is there a way back?” 42:44

No one can intercede except by His permission. This is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Will you not reflect? 10:3

My protector is Allah, who has revealed the Book, and He protects the righteous. 7:196

Whoever does wrong will be held accountable, and none will find refuge beyond Allah. 4:123, 5:72, 46:32

And that you have no protector or helper besides Him? 2:107, 2:120, 9:116, 29:22, 32:4, 42:31

Allah is the Guardian of those who believe; He brings them out of darkness into light. 2:257

Say: “In whose hand is the dominion of all things, who protects, yet none can protect against Him, if you truly know?” 23:88

Near

When My servants ask about Me, tell them I am near. 2:186

Though We are closer than you realize, yet you do not see 56:85

We created man, and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than his jugular vein. 50:16

Indeed, Allah’s help is always near. 2:214

Supreme

He reigns supreme over His servants. 6:18, 6:61

Cleaver

It is Allah who splits the seed and the date stone. 6:95

He causes the dawn to break. 6:96

Unique

There is nothing like Him. 42:11

Giver and Taker

Say, ‘O Allah, Master of all dominion! You grant power to whom You will and take it away from whom You will. You honour whom You will and humble whom You will. In Your hand is all good. 3:26

Say, “If Allah were to take away your hearing and sight and seal your hearts, who but Allah could restore them?” See how We clarify the signs, yet they turn away. 6:46

Easy

That is easy for Allah. 4:30, 4:169, 22:70, 33:19, 33:30, 35:11, 57:22, 64:7

Power

Endowed with power, standing firm before the Lord of the Throne, 81:20

Obeyed and trustworthy. 81:21

East and West

To Allah belong the east and the west, wherever you turn, there is the presence of Allah. 2:115, 2:142, 26:28

Best of …

Say, “I stand upon clear proof from my Lord, yet you reject it. The judgment is with Allah alone. He declares the truth, and He is the best of judges.” 6:57

Say, “If I had control over what you seek to hasten, the matter would already be settled between us. 6:58

He knows all that is in the land and sea. Not a leaf falls without His knowledge, nor a grain in the darkness of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry, except that it is recorded in a clear Book. 6:59

They plotted, but Allah also plotted, and Allah is the best of plotters. 3:54

Remember when the disbelievers plotted against you, to imprison, kill, or expel you. They plotted, but Allah also plotted, and Allah is the best of plotters. 8:30

When We grant people mercy after hardship, they plot against Our signs. Say, “Allah is swifter in plotting.” Our messengers record all they plot. 10:21

Did they feel safe from Allah’s plan? None feels secure from Allah’s plan except those who are truly lost. 7:99

When Allah decrees, none can repel it. 13:41

Harm from Allah

You cannot harm Him in the least. 9:39

Those who believe in falsehood and deny Allah are the true losers.” 29:52

What harm would come to them if they believed in Allah and the Last Day and gave from what He provided them? 4:39

Gathered

‘Our Lord, You will surely gather all people on a Day that is beyond doubt. Allah never fails in His promise. 3:9

And it is your Lord who will gather them all together. 15:25

You will all be gathered before Him. 2:203, 3:158, 5:96, 6:38, 6:72, 8:24, 23:79, 43:85, 56:50, 58:9, 67:24

Then to their Lord, they (creatures) will be gathered. 6:38, 81:5

To Allah is the final return. 3:28, 24:42, 35:18, 40:3, 50:43, 64:3

Whoever hopes to meet Allah, the appointed time is coming. 29:5

Judgement

It will be rewarded for what it earns and held accountable for what it commits. The believers pray: ‘Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or make mistakes. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden like that placed upon those before us. Our Lord, do not impose upon us what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so grant us victory over those who deny the truth.’ 2:286

Do you think you will enter Paradise without being tested like those before you? They were afflicted with hardship and adversity and shaken to their core, until even the messenger and the believers with him cried out, ‘When will Allah’s help come?’ Indeed, Allah’s help is always near. 2:214

As for the believers, Jews, Sabaeans, Christians, Magians, and polytheists, Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection. 22:17

Yet others say, ‘Our Lord, grant us goodness in this world and in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.’ 2:201

These will receive their portion from what they have earned. 2:202

The love of desires, women, children, hoarded gold and silver, fine horses, livestock, and fertile land has been made appealing to people. These are the pleasures of worldly life, but with Allah lies the finest return. 3:14

If Allah touches you with hardship, none can remove it but Him. And if He grants you good, He alone has power over all things. 6:17

If you avoid the major sins that you are forbidden, We will erase your minor sins and admit you into a noble entrance. 4:31

Say, “My Lord has forbidden shameful deeds, both open and hidden, sin, oppression, associating others with Him without authority, and speaking about Him without knowledge.” 7:33

Remain steadfast until Allah judges. He is the best of judges. 10:109

Allah is with the steadfast. 8:46

Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. 2:286, 6:152, 7:42

And that man will have only what he strives for, 53:39

And that his effort will be seen, 53:40

Then he will be fully repaid, 53:41

And that to your Lord is the final return, 53:42

And that it is He who causes laughter and weeping, 53:43

No Injustice

Allah does not wrong His creation. 3:108

Indeed, Allah does not wrong anyone, even by an atom’s weight. 4:40

That is Allah

That is Allah, so how are you turned away? 6:95

That is Allah, your Lord. 6:102, 10:3, 10:32, 35:13, 39:6, 40:62, 40:64, 42:10

Allah the Knowing

Allah Sees

No vision can grasp Him, yet He perceives all vision. 6:103

Allah is ever Seeing of what is done 2:96, 2:110, 2:233, 2:237, 2:265, 3:15, 3:20, 3:156, 3:163, 4:58, 4:134, 5:71, 8:39, 8:72, 11:112, 17:1, 17:17, 17:30, 17:96, 18:26, 20:35, 20:46, 22:61, 22:75, 25:20, 31:28, 33:9, 34:11, 35:31, 40:20, 40:44, 40:56, 41:40, 42:11, 42:27, 48:24, 49:18, 57:4, 58:1, 60:3, 64:2, 67:19, 84:15

When their time comes, surely Allah is All, Seeing of His servants. 35:45

Who sees you when you stand in prayer, 26:218

And your movements among those who bow. 26:219

Indeed, your Lord is ever watchful. 89:14

The Unseen

Those mindful of Allah. 2:2

They believe in the unseen. 2:3

Do they not know that Allah knows their secrets and whispers, and that He is fully aware of all things? 9:78, 9:105

To Allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth. 16:77, 49:18

With Him are the keys to the unseen; none knows them but Him. 6:59

Nothing in the heavens or the earth is hidden from Allah. 3:5

Say, “None in the heavens or the earth knows the unseen except Allah, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.” 27:65

Their knowledge is arrested concerning the Hereafter; they are in doubt about it, rather, they are blind to it. 27:66

Allah Knows

Allah knows, while you do not. 16:74

Allah knows who seeks to harm and who seeks to uplift. Had He willed, He could have made it difficult for you. 2:220

Indeed, all matters return to Him. 42:53

Whatever matter you engage in, whatever part of the Quran you recite, and whatever deeds you do, We witness it as you do. Not even an atom’s weight escapes your Lord, whether on earth or in the heavens. Everything, great or small, is recorded in a clear book. 10:61

Knower of the Concealed

He knows what sinks into the earth and what emerges from it, what descends from the sky and what ascends to it. 34:2, 57:4

Allah knows what is in your hearts, so be mindful of Him. 2:235

Do they not know that Allah knows their secrets and whispers? 9:78

Whether you speak aloud or in secret, He knows what is hidden and what is even more concealed. 20:7

He knows what you conceal and what you reveal, and He is fully aware of all that you earn. 6:3

Say, ‘Whether you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah knows it all. He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. 3:29, 14:38, 29:52, 33:54, 64:4

Do they not realize that Allah knows what they conceal and what they reveal? 2:77, 5:99, 16:19, 16:23, 24:29, 27:74, 28:69, 36:76, 40:19, 47:26, 60:1, 64:4

They conceal their hearts to hide from Him. But even when they cover themselves, He knows what they keep secret and what they reveal. He knows what lies within the hearts. 11:5

Whether you reveal what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it. 2:284

Knower of what you do

And if they dispute with you, then say, " Allah is acquainted of what you do. 3:180, 22:68, 27:88

Then We will narrate to them with knowledge, for We were never absent. 7:7

Whatever good you do, Allah knows it. 2:197

He knows the treachery of the eyes and what the hearts conceal. 40:19

Your Lord knows you best. If He wills, He will have mercy on you, or if He wills, He will punish you. 17:54

Knower of what you say

We know best what they say. You are not over them a compeller. 50:45

It is the same whether one conceals his speech or declares it, whether one hides in the night or walks openly in the day. 13:10

“He knows what is spoken aloud and what you conceal.” 21:110, 67:13, 67:14

So don’t let their words grieve you. 36:76

Before and After

They do not precede Him in speech and act only by His command. 21:27

He knows what is before them and what is behind them, while they comprehend nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. 2:255, 21:28, 22:76

Generations

No female conceives or gives birth without His knowledge. No one lives long or dies early except by His decree. 35:11, 41:47

No fruit emerges from its sheath, no female conceives or gives birth, except with His knowledge. 41:47

We know those who advance and those who lag behind. 15:24

Not Unaware

Allah is not unaware of what you do. 2:85, 2:140, 2:144, 2:148, 2:149, 6:132, 11:123, 27:93

He knows your condition, and the Day you are returned to Him, He will inform you of what you did. Allah has full knowledge of all things. 24:64

We are never unaware of creation. 23:17

Do not think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them until a Day when eyes will stare in horror. 14:42

Allah's Commands

Praise Allah

All praise belongs to Allah. 1:2, 34:1, 37:182, 45:36, 64:1

Say, “Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. 27:59

Say, “He is the Most Merciful, in Him we believe, and in Him we trust. You will soon know who is truly lost.” 67:29

He is Allah, there is no Allah but Him. To Him belongs all praise in this life and the next. His is the judgment, and to Him you will be returned. 28:70, 34:1

To Him belongs all praise in the heavens and the earth, at night and at midday. 30:18

All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah. 57:1, 59:1, 59:24, 61:1, 62:1, 64:1

To Him belongs all greatness in the heavens and the earth. 45:37

When Allah’s help and victory come, 110:1

And you see people entering His religion in crowds, 110:2

Then glorify your Lord with praise and seek His forgiveness, for He is ever accepting of repentance. 110:3

Glory

Do you not see that everything in the heavens and earth glorifies Allah, even the birds in flight? 24:41

So, glorify the name of your Lord. 56:74, 56:96, 69:52, 87:1

Glory be to the One who created all things in pairs. 36:36

So, glorify Allah in the evening and the morning. 30:17

So, glory be to the One in whose hand is the dominion of all things 36:83

Glorify Him with praise. 25:58

Glory be to Him! 2:116, 9:31, 10:68, 16:57, 17:1, 19:35, 21:26, 30:40, 39:4, 43:13

And in the night, glorify Him, and at the fading of the stars. 52:49

Prostrate to Allah

Do not bow to the sun or the moon, but bow to Allah, who created them, if you truly worship Him. 41:37

Do you not see that everything in the heavens and earth bows to Allah, the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the animals, and many among humanity? 22:18

To Allah submits all in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, as do their shadows, morning and evening. 13:15

So, glorify your Lord with praise and be among those who bow. 15:98

So, bow down to Allah and draw near. 53:62

Worship Allah

This is your community, a single nation, and I am your Lord, so worship Me. 21:92, 23:52

So, worship Allah with sincere devotion. 39:2

Rather, worship Allah alone and be among the grateful. 39:66

Worship Him alone. 6:102

Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. 5:119, 98:8

You alone we worship, and You alone we seek for help. 1:5, 11:123

To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him alone is devotion due. Will you then fear anything besides Allah? 16:52

Remember Allah

They remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying down, and they contemplate the wonders of creation, saying, ‘Our Lord, You did not create this in vain, glory be to You! 3:191

So, remember Me, and I will remember you. 2:152

Do Not Be Ungrateful

Be grateful to Me, and do not be ungrateful. 2:152

Love Allah

Say, ‘If you truly love Allah, then follow me, and Allah will love you and forgive your sins. 3:31

Rely on Allah

And rely upon the Ever, Living, who never dies, and glorify Him with praise. He is fully aware of the sins of His servants. 25:58, 26:217

Whatever you dispute over, its judgment rests with Allah. Such is Allah, my Lord, upon Him I rely, and to Him I turn. 42:10

Trust in Him. 4:81, 8:61, 10:84, 11:123, 33:3, 33:48

Let the believers put their trust in Allah. 3:160, 11:123, 64:13

Allah loves those who rely on Him. 3:159

And rely upon the Almighty. 26:217

So, rely upon Allah, you are upon the clear truth. 27:79

Upon Allah, the reliant should rely. 14:12

Refuge

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn and mankind. 113:1, 114:1

The Allah of mankind, 114:3

From the harm of what He created, 113:2

From the whispers of the lurking deceiver, 114:4

Who whispers into hearts, 114:5

From among the jinn and mankind. 114:6

From the darkness as it spreads, 113:3

From those who blow on knots, 113:4

And from the envy of the envious when they envy. 113:5

And you will find no refuge besides Him. 18:27

And say: “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whispers of devils, 23:97

And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, from their presence.” 23:98

When you recite the Quran, seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed. 16:98

If a whisper from Satan provokes you, seek refuge in Allah. 7:200, 41:36

So, seek shelter in Allah. 40:56

Obey Allah

Say, ‘Obey Allah and His Messenger.’ 3:32, 3:132, 4:59, 5:92, 8:1, 8:20, 8:46, 9:71, 24:54, 33:33, 47:33, 49:14, 58:13, 64:12

Don’t Disobey Allah

But whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger and transgresses His limits will be cast into a fire. 4:14, 33:36, 48:13, 72:23

Mindful

Be conscious/mindful of Allah so that you may succeed/for you will all be gathered before Him. 2:41, 2:189, 2:194, 2:196, 2:197, 2:223, 2:231, 2:233, 2:278, 3:50, 3:102, 3:120, 3:123, 3:130, 3:186, 3:200, 4:9, 4:128, 4:129, 5:4, 5:11, 5:35, 5:88, 5:93

O humanity! Be mindful of your Lord if you are truly devoted. 4:1, 5:57, 5:112, 9:119, 60:11

Who brings forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living? Who governs all affairs?” They will say, “Allah.” Say, “Then will you not be mindful?” 10:31, 13:2, 32:5, 43:87

Be mindful of Allah 5:7

As for the one who gives and is mindful, 92:5

And affirms what is best, 47:36, 92:6

We will ease his way to ease. 92:7

So be mindful of Allah, O people of understanding who have believed. 65:10

Be mindful of Allah and listen 5:108, 64:16

But Allah will save those who were mindful of Him. No harm will touch them, nor will they grieve. 39:61

O believers! If you are mindful of Allah, He will grant you discernment, absolve your sins, and forgive you. 8:29

There is no blame, so long as they remain mindful of Allah. 2:203

The Hereafter is far better for those who are mindful. Will you not understand? 6:32, 7:169, 12:109

They are those who believe and remain mindful of Him. 10:63

For them is good news in this life and the Hereafter. 10:64

O believers, be mindful of Allah and believe in His Messenger. He will grant you a double portion of His mercy, a light to guide you, and forgiveness. 57:28

Those mindful of Allah are not accountable for them, but their duty is to remind, perhaps they will take heed. 6:69

O Prophet, remain mindful of Allah and do not yield to the deniers or the hypocrites. 33:1

We have urged those before you, and you yourselves, to remain mindful of Allah. 4:131

Say, “Then will you not be mindful?” 10:31

Fear Allah

Fear Allah alone. 33:39

Only those who truly fear Allah among His servants are those with knowledge. 35:28

Allah knows those who fear him. 9:44

Know that Allah is with those who fear Him. 2:194, 16:128

But for the one who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his desires 79:40

Paradise will be his home. 79:41

Who feared the Most Merciful unseen, and came with a heart turned in devotion. 50:33

They tremble in awe of Him. 21:28

Call upon Him with hope and fear 7:56

I fear Allah 8:48

A Book consistent in its teachings, with alternating themes that make the hearts of those who fear their Lord tremble. Then their hearts and bodies soften at the remembrance of Allah. 39:23

Creator Allah

Creator

Is He not the One who created the heavens and the earth. 27:60

Is He not the One who made the earth stable, placed rivers within it, set mountains firm, and created a barrier between the seas? 27:61

Is He not the One who begins creation and then repeats it, and who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? 27:64

Allah begins creation, then repeats it. Then to Him you will be returned. 30:11

Say, “Travel the earth and observe how He began creation, then Allah will bring forth the next existence. 29:20

Indeed, We created everything in due measure. 54:49

And Our command is but one, like the blink of an eye. 54:50

Is He who creates like one who does not create? Will you not take heed? 16:17

He creates as He wills. 5:17, 24:45, 28:68, 42:49

Were We tired by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 50:15

The Best of Creators. 23:14, 37:125

Be

When We will something, We say to it, “Be,” and it is. 16:40, 36:82, 40:68

When He decrees a matter, He simply says, 'Be,' and it is. 2:117

Invoking Allah

Allah has the most beautiful names, so call upon Him by them and avoid those who distort His names. They will be repaid for what they do. 7:29, 7:180

then let us sincerely pray and invoke Allah’s curse upon the liars.’ 3:61

Say, “I am forbidden from worshiping those you invoke besides Allah.” 6:56

Do not insult those they invoke besides Allah, lest they insult Allah in ignorance. 6:108

So call upon Allah, devoting your faith entirely to Him, even if the disbelievers resent it. 40:14

One Nation

Had Allah willed, He could have made you one community, but He tests you through what He has given you. So compete in goodness, your return is to Allah, and He will inform you of your differences. 5:48

He will clarify for you on the Day of Judgment what you used to dispute. 16:92, 22:69

Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you of what you differed in.” 6:164

Say, "O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, judge between Your servants in what they disputed." 39:46

One Religion

Humanity was once a single community, but then they differed. So, Allah sent prophets as bearers of good news and warners, and revealed to them the Scripture in truth to judge between people in their disputes. Yet none disputed it except those who had received it, after clear proofs had come to them, out of jealousy. Then Allah, by His grace, guided the believers to the truth regarding those disputes. 2:213

This is the way of Allah, a mark upon His creation. Who is better than Allah in setting a way? And to Him alone we are devoted. 2:138

So set your face toward the true faith, Allah’s natural way upon which He created humanity. There is no change in Allah’s creation. This is the upright religion, but most people do not know. 30:30

Turn to Him in devotion. 30:31

Do not be like those who divided and differed after receiving clear guidance. 3:105

Had Allah willed, He could have made you one community, but He leaves some to stray and guides others. You will be questioned about what you used to do. 16:93

Had Allah willed, He could have made them one community, but He admits into His mercy whomever He wills. 42:8

This is your community, a single nation, and I am your Lord, so worship Me. 21:92, 23:52

Life and Death and life

Did We not make the earth a cradle, 77:25

For the living and the dead? 77:26

He gives life and causes death. 2:258, 3:156, 7:158, 9:116, 10:56, 15:23, 22:6, 22:66, 23:80, 40:68, 42:9, 44:8, 50:43, 53:44, 57:2

He gives life to the dead. 22:6, 29:63, 30:50, 45:5, 46:33, 57:17

How can you deny Allah when He gave you life after you were nothing? He will cause you to die, then bring you back to life. 2:28, 22:66

You cause the night to merge into the day and the day into the night. You bring forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living. 3:27, 6:95, 7:57, 30:19

And Allah caused you to grow from the earth like plants, 71:17

Then He will return you to it, and bring you forth again. 71:18

Allah created you, then causes you to die. Some of you reach old age, forgetting what they once knew. 16:70

It is We who bring the dead to life and record what they’ve sent ahead and what they’ve left behind. Everything is kept in a clear record. 36:12

He created death and life to test which of you is best in deeds. 67:2

Allah is the One who created you, then provided for you, then causes you to die, then brings you back to life. 30:40

He strikes up arguments about Us, forgetting his own creation. He says, “Who will bring bones back to life after they’ve decayed?” 36:78

Say: “The One who created them the first time will bring them back. 36:79

Does the human being think We will not reassemble his bones? 75:3

Yes indeed, we are able even to restore his very fingertips. 75:4

Is not the One who did this able to raise the dead? 75:40

Have you not seen those who fled their homes in thousands, fearing death? Allah said to them, ‘Die,’ then brought them back to life. 2:243

Is one who was dead, whom We brought to life and gave light to walk among people, like one who remains in darkness, never emerging? 6:122

If you obey a man like yourselves, you’ll be losers. 23:34

Does he promise that when you die and become dust and bones, you’ll be brought back to life? 23:35

Far, fetched, far, fetched is what you’re promised! 23:36

There’s nothing but our worldly life, we live and die, and we won’t be resurrected. 23:37

He’s just a man inventing lies about Allah, we won’t believe him.” 23:38

Return

Only those who listen will respond. As for the dead, Allah will resurrect them, then they will return to Him. 6:36

The reverent will take heed. 87:10

those who are certain they will meet their Lord and return to Him. 2:46

Surely, He is able to bring him back. 86:8

Allah makes whoever He wills hear, but you cannot make those in the graves hear. 35:22

We did not grant immortality to any human before you, so if you die, will they live forever? 21:34

Every soul will taste death. We test you with hardship and ease, then to Us you will return. 21:35

Indeed, We will inherit the earth and all who are upon it, and to Us they will be returned. 19:40

To Him is your return. 10:4, 10:56, 11:4, 36:83

Then to Him you will be returned." 39:44, 43:14

So be patient, Allah’s promise is true. Whether We show you some of what We have promised them or cause you to die first, to Us they will return. 40:77

To Allah all things return. 2:28, 2:210, 3:83, 3:109, 11:123, 22:76, 35:4, 57:5, 96:8

Creator of the Heavens and the Earth

Dominion/ Kingdom

Do you not know that the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah? 2:107, 3:189, 5:17, 5:18, 5:40, 5:120, 6:73, 7:158, 9:116, 24:42, 25:2, 38:10, 39:6, 39:44, 42:49, 43:85, 45:27, 48:14, 57:2, 57:5, 64:1, 67:1, 85:9

Belongs

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. 2:255, 2:284, 3:109, 3:129, 3:180, 4:126, 4:131, 4:132, 4:171, 6:12, 6:73, 10:55, 10:66, 11:123, 14:2, 16:52, 20:6, 22:64, 23:84, 24:64, 30:26, 34:1, 42:4, 42:12, 42:53, 53:31

Is there any creator besides Allah who provides for you from the sky and the earth? There is no Allah but Him, so how are you turned away? 35:3

Sustainer

All in the heavens and the earth seek Him. Every day He is engaged in a new act. 55:29

Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between, so worship Him and remain steadfast in His worship. Do you know of any equal to Him? 19:65, 44:7

To Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth. 48:7

Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We built it and adorned it, with no cracks? 50:6

Allah holds the heavens and the earth so they do not collapse. If they were to fall, no one could hold them up after Him. 35:41

upholding justice. 3:18

And at the mountains, how they are set firm? 88:19

We spread the earth and placed firm mountains upon it, and We caused everything to grow in perfect balance. 15:19, 50:7, 88:20

Did We not make the earth a cradle, 78:6

He who made the earth a stable ground for you, and traced pathways upon it so you may be guided. 43:10, 71:19, 71:20

He is the One who made the earth manageable for you, so walk its paths and eat of His provision. To Him is the resurrection. 67:15

We will attend to you, O mighty two. 55:31

Do you feel secure that the One in the sky will not cause the earth to swallow you as it quakes? 67:16

Or do you feel safe that the One in the sky will not unleash a storm of stones upon you? Then you will know how true My warning was. 67:17

Say, “Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? They will say, “Allah.” Say, “Then will you not be mindful?” 10:31

The Balance

It is Allah who sent down the Balance. 42:17

He raised the sky and set the balance, 55:7

So do not transgress in the balance. 55:8

Weigh with justice, and do not tip the scales. 55:9

Creating Earth

Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth. Surely in this is a sign for the believers. 29:44, 30:22, 42:29, 45:3

Allah created the heavens and the earth, sent down rain, and brought forth fruits for your sustenance. 14:32

And among His signs is that the heavens and the earth stand by His command. Then when He calls you from the earth, you will emerge. 30:25

The creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most people do not realize. 40:57

Are you harder to create, or the heavens? He built them,  79:27

Say: “Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?” Say: “Allah. And surely, either we or you are upon guidance, or in clear error.” 34:24

If you ask them, “Who created the heavens and the earth, and subjected the sun and the moon?” they will surely say, “Allah.” Then how are they deluded? 29:61, 43:9

It is He who created the heavens and the earth in truth. On the Day He says, "Be," it will be. His word is absolute, and to Him belongs all sovereignty when the Trumpet is sounded. 6:73, 14:19, 14:32, 15:85, 16:3, 27:60, 29:44, 39:5, 45:22, 46:3, 46:33, 64:3

I turn my face fully to the One who created the heavens and the earth, purely devoted to Him. 6:79

Is He not the One who created the heavens and the earth, 27:60

And He subjected to you all that is in the heavens and the earth 45:13

Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you all that is on the earth, 22:65

Allah made the earth a stable place for you and the sky a canopy. 40:64

All praise belongs to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and brought forth darkness and light. 6:1, 6:14

Is not the One who created the heavens and the earth able to create the likes of them again? Yes 36:81

Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heavens and the earth? All is in a Record. 22:70

Have they not seen how Allah initiates creation and then repeats it? That is easy for Allah. 29:19

And that is not difficult for Allah. 14:20, 35:17

We did not create the heavens, the earth, and all between them for mere amusement. 21:16, 44:38

We did not create the heavens, the earth, and all between them in vain, this is the assumption of those who deny the truth. 38:27

We built the heavens with strength, and We are ever expanding it. 51:47

And the earth, We spread it out, how excellently We laid it! 13:3, 50:7, 51:48, 79:30

Mountains

We spread the earth and placed firm mountains upon it, and We caused everything to grow in perfect balance. 13:3, 15:19, 21:31, 27:61, 41:10, 50:7, 77:27, 79:32

And the mountains as pegs? 78:7

He set mountains upon the earth lest it shift with you. 16:15, 31:10

He created shade for you, made shelters in the mountains, and garments to protect you from heat and battle. 16:81

And in the mountains are streaks, white, red, and jet black, of varying shades. 35:27

And We made livelihoods for you within it, as well as for those you do not provide for. 15:20

There is nothing except that its storehouses are with Us, and We send it down in precise measure. 15:21

And we made wide pathways so they may find direction. 21:31

Seven Heavens

It is He who created everything on earth for you, then turned to the heavens and fashioned them into seven layers. 2:29

Thus, He completed them as seven heavens in two days, assigning to each its function. And We adorned the lowest heaven with lamps and protection. Such is the decree of the Almighty. 41:12

We built above you seven layers, and We are never unaware of creation. So look again, do you see any gaps? 23:17, 67:3, 71:15

Then look again, and again, your gaze will return humbled and weary. 67:4

It is Allah who raised the heavens without visible pillars. 13:2, 31:10

We built above you seven mighty layers, 78:12

Allah is the One who created seven heavens and of the earth, their like. His command descends between them so that you may know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah encompasses all things in knowledge. 65:12

Say: “Who is Lord of the seven heavens? 23:86

The seven heavens, the earth, and all within them glorify Him. There is nothing that does not exalt Him, though you do not understand their praise. 17:44

6 Days

We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six days, and no fatigue touched Us. 50:38

Your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself above the Throne. 7:54, 10:3, 25:59, 32:4, 57:4

He created the heavens and the earth in six days, and His Throne was upon the waters, to test who among you is best in deeds. 11:7

He begins creation and then repeats it, to reward those who believe and do good with fairness. 10:4

8 Days

Say, “Do you truly deny the One who created the earth in two days, and set up equals beside Him? 41:9

He placed firm mountains upon it, blessed it, and apportioned its sustenance in four days equally for all who seek. 41:10

We measured it precisely, how excellent are We in measuring! 77:23

Then He turned to the sky, which was but smoke, and said to it and the earth, “Come willingly or unwillingly.” They said, “We come willingly.” 41:11

Thus, He completed them as seven heavens in two days, assigning to each its function. And We adorned the lowest heaven with lamps and protection. Such is the decree of the Almighty. 41:12

Established above the Throne

He established Himself upon the Throne. 7:54, 10:3, 13:2, 20:5, 25:59, 32:4, 57:4

Not Tired

Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. 2:255, 50:38

Creator of the Natural World

Creator of Day and Night

He is the One who created night and day, the sun and the moon, each floating in its orbit. 21:33

Out of His mercy, He made for you the night and the day, so you may rest and seek His bounty, and so you may be grateful. 28:73

In the alternation of night and day, and in all that Allah has created in the heavens and the earth, are signs for those who are mindful. 10:6, 17:12

And among His signs is your sleep by night and day, and your pursuit of His bounty. Surely in this are signs for those who listen. 30:23

To Him belongs everything that rests in the night and the day. 6:13

He made the sun and moon follow their courses, and He subjected night and day to you. 14:33, 16:12

He causes the dawn to break and made the night for rest, and the sun and moon for calculation. This is the design of the Almighty. 6:96, 10:67, 27:86

He is the One who made the night a covering, sleep for rest, and the day for rising. 25:47, 78:10

And the day a time to seek livelihood. 78:11

Alternation of Night and Day

Indeed, the alternation of night and day are signs for those who reflect. 2:164, 3:190, 10:6, 16:12, 24:44, 41:37, 45:5

Another sign for them is the night, we strip daylight from it, and they are left in darkness. 36:37, 79:29

You cause the night to merge into the day and the day into the night. 3:27, 13:3, 22:61, 35:13, 57:6

He veils the day with night, chasing it swiftly. 7:54

And He is the One who made the night and day alternate, for those who seek reflection or gratitude. 25:62

The alternation of night and day is by His command. Will you not understand? 23:80

Sun and Moon

Among His signs are the sun and the moon. 16:12, 41:37

Blessed is He who placed constellations in the sky, and set within it a radiant lamp and a glowing moon. 25:61, 71:16, 78:13

He made the sun radiant and the moon a light, determining its phases so you may count the years and measure time. Allah did not create this except with truth. He explains His signs for those who understand. 10:5

He wraps the night around the day and the day around the night. He has subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for an appointed time. 7:54, 13:2, 14:33, 16:12, 35:13, 39:5

And the sun runs its course to a fixed destination. That is the design of the Almighty. 36:38

And the moon, We’ve set for it phases, until it returns like an old, curved date stalk. 36:39

He is the One who created night and day, the sun and the moon, each floating in its orbit. 21:33, 36:40

He causes the dawn to break and made the night for rest, and the sun and moon for calculation. This is the design of the Almighty. 6:96, 55:5

Have you not seen how your Lord extends the shadow? If He willed, He could make it still. Then We make the sun its guide. 25:45

Then We gradually withdraw it. 25:46

Stars

He is the One who made the stars for you, so that you may navigate by them in the darkness of land and sea, and landmarks. 6:97, 16:16

We have placed constellations in the sky and adorned them for those who look. 15:16

Blessed is He who placed constellations in the sky 25:61

The stars are bound to His command. 7:54, 16:12

And the stars and the trees bow in submission. 55:6

And what will make you understand the night visitor? 86:2

It is the piercing star. 86:3

Sky

By the sky woven with precision. 51:7

He raised the sky and set the balance, 55:7

And at the sky, how it is raised? 88:18

And We made the sky a protected canopy and perfected them. 2:22, 21:32, 40:64, 79:28

He holds back the sky from falling upon the earth, except by His permission. 22:65

Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We built it and adorned it, with no cracks? 50:6

Have they not seen what lies before them and behind them of the sky? If We will, We could cause the sky to fall upon them. Surely in this is a sign for every servant who turns back to Allah. 34:9

They say “We will not believe unless you make the sky fall upon us in pieces, as you claim. 17:90, 17:92

Even if they saw pieces of the sky falling, they would say, “Clouds heaped up!” 52:44

Rain

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and with it We bring forth fruits of different colors? 6:99, 13:17, 14:32, 16:10, 22:63, 23:18, 25:48, 27:60, 35:27, 39:21, 43:11, 50:9, 71:11, 78:14

It is Allah who sends the winds, stirring up clouds. We drive them to a lifeless land and revive the earth after its death. That is how the resurrection will be. 2:164, 7:57, 16:65, 22:5, 24:43, 25:48, 25:49, 30:50, 35:9, 43:11, 50:11

Allah is the One who sends the winds, stirring up clouds, then spreads them across the sky as He wills, then forms them into layers, and you see rain emerge from within them. When He causes it to fall upon whom He wills, they rejoice. 30:48

Do you not see how Allah sends down rain from the sky, and the earth turns green? 22:63, 39:21

Among His signs is that you see the earth barren, then when We send down rain, it stirs and grows. 41:39

He sends down water from the sky, and valleys flow according to their measure. The torrent carries foam like the scum upon molten metal when heated for crafting ornaments or tools. 13:17

We send the winds to fertilize, and We send down water from the sky for you to drink, you are not its keepers. 15:22

He sends down water from the sky, from which you drink and which nourishes vegetation for grazing. 16:10, 25:49, 79:33

We have distributed it among them so they may reflect, but most people persist in denial. 25:50

He made rivers flow for your benefit. 14:32

and We are fully able to take it away. 23:18

Say, “Have you considered, if your water were to sink deep into the earth, who could bring you flowing water? 67:30

Brought forth its water and pasture, 79:31

He is the One who sends down rain after they have lost hope, spreading His mercy. 42:28

Though before it was sent down, they were in despair. 30:49

If He wills, He can still the wind, leaving them motionless upon its surface. 42:33, 45:5

He sends down hail from the sky, striking whom He wills and turning it away from whom He wills. 24:43

Springs

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and lets it flow into the earth, forming springs? 39:21

And We cause springs to gush forth within it, 36:34, 54:12

Produce

Let man reflect on his food. 80:24

causing all kinds of plants to grow. 6:99

So they may eat its fruits, though their hands did not make it. Will they not be grateful? 36:35

Allah has granted them the best provision. 65:11

How We pour down abundant water. 80:25

Then split the earth open. 80:26

Causing all kinds of plants to grow, producing green stalks from which We bring forth clustered grain. And from palm trees come clusters of dates hanging within reach. There are also gardens of grapevines, olives, and pomegranates, similar in shape but dissimilar in taste. Look at their fruit as it yields and ripens, every noble kind of plant! 6:99, 6:141, 14:32, 16:11, 23:19, 27:60, 31:10, 36:33, 36:34, 50:9, 50:10, 50:11, 55:12, 78:15, 78:16, 80:27, 80:28, 80:29, 80:30

And from the fruits of date palms and grapes, you extract intoxicants and wholesome sustenance. Surely in this is a sign for those who understand. 16:67

And a tree that springs from Mount Sinai, producing oil and seasoning for those who eat. 23:20

We bring forth the pasture, and every kind of fruit. 7:57, 35:27, 39:21, 80:31, 87:4

As a provision for you and your livestock. 79:33, 80:32

Eat of their fruit when they ripen and give their due on the day of harvest. 6:141

On earth are neighbouring lands, vineyards, crops, and date palms, some growing from a single root, others distinct, nourished by the same water, yet differing in taste. 13:4

But if We send a wind, and they see their crops wither, they remain ungrateful. 30:51

Then turned it into dry stubble. 87:5

A sign for them is the dead land, we revive it and bring forth grain from it, which they eat. 30:24, 36:33, 39:21

Good land produces abundantly by its Lord’s permission, while barren land yields little. 7:58, 78:15

Thunder and Lightning

He is the One who shows you lightning, inspiring fear and hope, and He forms the heavy clouds. 13:12, 30:24

The thunder glorifies Him, as do the angels in awe of Him. He sends thunderbolts, striking whom He wills, yet they dispute about Allah. 13:13

Or like a storm from the sky, filled with darkness, thunder, and lightning. They thrust their fingers into their ears against the thunderclaps, fearing death. 2:19

The lightning nearly snatches away their sight; whenever it flashes, they walk in its glow, but when darkness falls, they stand still. If Allah willed, He could take away their hearing and sight. 2:20, 24:43

Livestock

Have they not seen how We created for them, among what Our hands have made, livestock they own? 36:71

We made them tame for them, some they ride, and some they eat. 36:72

And on them you are carried. 23:22

They have other benefits and drinks from them. Will they not give thanks? 36:73

And in livestock, too, is a lesson for you. We give you pure milk to drink, drawn from what is within their bodies, wholesome and pleasing to those who consume it, and from them you eat. 16:5, 16:66, 23:21, 40:79

He sent down livestock for you, eight kinds in pairs. 39:6, 42:11

There is beauty in them when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 16:6

And among people, animals, and livestock are also diverse colours. 35:28

And whatever He created for you on earth comes in diverse colours. 16:13

And He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as adornment. 16:8, 40:79, 43:12

Do they not look at the camels, how they are created? 88:17

They carry your burdens to lands you could not reach without great hardship. 16:7

That you may mount their backs, and remember your Lord’s favour as you sit firmly upon them, saying, “Glory be to Him who placed these at our service. 43:13

Birds

Do they not see the birds soaring in the sky? None holds them up except Allah. 16:79

Do they not see the birds above them, spreading and folding their wings? None holds them up except the Most Merciful. 67:19

every bird that flies with its wings are communities like yours. 6:38

Do you not see that everything in the heavens and earth glorifies Allah, even the birds in flight? 24:41

Bees

And your Lord inspired the bee: “Build your homes in the mountains, in trees, and in what people construct.” 16:68

“Then feed on the nectar of all fruits and follow the paths your Lord has made easy.” From within them comes a drink of varying colours, bringing healing to people. 16:69

Animals

He who created all pairs, and provided you with ships and animals to ride. 43:12

He laid out the earth for all creatures. 55:10

the creatures scattered across it, 2:164, 31:10, 45:4

Every creature that moves on the earth and every bird that flies with its wings are communities like yours. We have left nothing out of the Record. Then to their Lord, they will be gathered. 6:38

Allah created every living creature from water. Some crawl on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some on four. 24:45

Things

Do they not see that everything Allah created casts its shadow, inclining to the right and left, bowing to Allah in humility? 16:48

How many creatures do not carry their own provision? Allah provides for them and for you. 29:60

Creator of Man

Created

Was there ever a time when the human being was nothing worth mentioning? 76:1

He is the One who created you on earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 23:79

We created man, and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than his jugular vein. 50:16

Let man reflect on what he was created from. 86:5

We created the human from a mingled drop, testing him, so We made him hearing and seeing. 76:2

He is the One who shaped you from clay and appointed a fixed span for your lives, known only to Him, yet still, you remain in doubt. 6:2

Allah is the One who created you weak, then gave you strength, then after strength, weakness and gray hair. 30:54

We created man in the finest form, 95:4

Then reduced him to the lowest of the low. 95:5

We established you on the earth and provided for you within it, yet little do you show gratitude. 7:10

We created them and strengthened their form, and if We willed, We could replace them entirely. 76:28

He shaped you and perfected your form, providing you with good things. 40:64, 55:3, 64:3

And provide you with wealth and children, and grant you gardens and flowing rivers. 71:12

Allah has given you spouses from among yourselves and granted you children and grandchildren, and He has provided you with good things. 16:72

And taught him clear expression. 55:4

Made your sleep a time of rest, 78:9

He creates what you do not yet know. 16:8

He perfected everything He created. 32:7

We created man in the finest form, 95:4

And that upon Him is the next creation, 53:47

They ask you about the Spirit. Say, “The Spirit is from my Lord’s command, and you have been given only a little knowledge.” 17:85

He is the One who begins creation and then repeats it. This is easy for Him. 30:27

A soul and its mate

He is the One who created you from a single soul and made from it its mate, so that he may find comfort in her. When he embraces her, she carries a light burden and moves about freely. But when it grows heavy, they call upon Allah, their Lord, saying, “If You grant us a good child, we will be grateful.” 6:98, 7:189, 39:6

O humanity! Be mindful of your Lord, who created you from a single soul and from it formed its mate. Through both, He spread countless men and women. 4:1

And among His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, so that you may find tranquility in them, and He placed love and mercy between you. 30:21

He made for you mates from among yourselves, and pairs among the creatures, multiplying you thereby. 13:3, 35:11, 42:11, 75:39

And We created you in pairs 51:49, 53:45, 78:8

He grants daughters to some, sons to others, 42:49

Or pairs them with both sons and daughters, and makes some barren. 42:50

Glory be to the One who created all things in pairs, what the earth grows, themselves, and what they do not know. 36:36

Created From Water

Allah created every living creature from water, then established bonds of lineage and marriage. 24:45, 25:54

Created From Mud/Clay

Indeed, We created man from refined clay, shaped from darkened mud. 15:26

He is the One who shaped you from clay. 6:2, 23:12, 32:7, 37:11, 55:14

Created From Dust

We created you from dust. 18:37, 22:5, 30:20, 35:11, 40:67

Then you became human beings, spreading across the earth. 30:20

Created From Sperm

He created man from a mere drop. 16:4, 18:37, 22:5, 35:11, 36:77, 40:67, 53:46, 75:37, 76:2, 86:6

Then He made his offspring from an extract of insignificant fluid. 32:8, 77:20

Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 86:7

Then placed him as a drop in a secure resting place, 23:13, 77:21

It is He who shapes you in the wombs as He wills, for a known span? 3:6, 22:5, 77:22

Development

He forms you in the wombs of your mothers, stage after stage, in three layers of darkness. 39:6

When He created you in stages? 71:14

Then We shaped the drop into a clinging clot, then into a lump, then formed bones, and clothed the bones with flesh 22:5, 23:14, 32:9, 40:67, 75:38

He brought you forth from your mothers’ wombs, knowing nothing, and gave you hearing, sight, and hearts so that you may be grateful. 16:78, 23:78, 32:9

Cycle of Life

We settle what We will in the wombs for a set time, then bring you forth as infants, so you may grow to strength. 22:5, 40:67

Then lets you grow to maturity and old age. 18:37, 40:67, 87:2

Some of you die early, others regress to feeble old age, forgetting what they once knew, so that you may reach your appointed time and reflect. 22:5, 40:67

Then, after that, you will surely die. 23:15

Then on the Day of Resurrection, you will be raised again. 23:16

Ungrateful

Allah defends those who believe. Allah does not love any treacherous, ungrateful one. 22:38

Yet little do you show gratitude; they become desperate and ungrateful. 7:10, 11:9, 14:34, 17:24, 17:67, 22:66, 31:32, 42:48, 43:15, 100:6

What is wrong with you that you do not revere Allah’s majesty, 71:13

Yet now he stands as an open challenger? 16:4, 36:77

Man prays for harm as he prays for good, for he is ever hasty. 17:11

No Son

They say, “Allah has taken a son.” Glory be to Him! He is self-sufficient. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. You have no proof for this, are you saying about Allah what you do not know? 2:116, 10:68

Allah is one, far above having a son. 4:171

And they say, “The Most Merciful has taken a son.” 19:88

You have uttered a monstrous claim! 19:89

The heavens nearly rupture, the earth splits, and the mountains collapse in devastation, 19:90

Because they attribute a son to the Most Merciful. 19:91

It is not fitting for the Most Merciful to take a son. 19:92

And to warn those who say, “God has taken a son.” 18:4

God has not taken a son, nor is there any god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken what he created and tried to dominate the others. 23:91

And say, “Praise be to God, who has neither taken a son nor has any partner in His dominion, nor needs a protector against weakness.” Glorify Him greatly. 17:111

It is not for God to take a son—glory be to Him! When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is. 19:35

If Allah had willed to take a son, He could have chosen from His creation as He pleased. But He is far above such a thing 39:4

Say, “If the Most Merciful had a son, I would be the first to worship.” 43:81

He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, who has taken no son, nor has He any partner in His sovereignty, who created everything and determined its measure. 25:2

He neither begets nor is begotten. 112:3

Sleep

Allah takes the souls at the time of death, and those who sleep, He holds some back and releases others until their appointed time. In this are signs for those who reflect. 39:42

It is He who gathers you in sleep and knows what you have done throughout the day. Then He awakens you, so that the appointed term may be fulfilled. In the end, to Him is your return, and He will inform you of all that you used to do. 6:60

He is the One who made the night a covering, sleep for rest, and the day for rising. 25:47, 78:9, 78:10

And among His signs is your sleep by night and day. Surely in this are signs for those who listen. 30:23

It is He who gathers you in sleep and knows what you have done throughout the day. Then He awakens you, so that the appointed term may be fulfilled. 6:60

Parents

We have commanded people to be good to their parents. 29:8

Say, “Come, let me recite what your Lord has forbidden: Be good to your parents. Do not kill your children out of poverty. We provide for you and them so that you may understand.” 6:151

When you speak, be just, even if it concerns a relative. Fulfil your covenant with Allah. This He has commanded you, so that you may take heed.” 6:152

Homes

Allah made your homes a place of rest and provided you with tents from animal hides, light to carry when you travel or camp. He gave you wool, fur, and hair for furnishings and temporary enjoyment. 16:80

He created shade for you, made shelters in the mountains, and garments to protect you from heat and battle. Thus, He completes His favour upon you so that you may submit. 16:81, 33:27

O believers, do not enter homes other than your own without first seeking permission and greeting the occupants. That is better for you; perhaps you will remember. 24:27

There is no blame on the blind, or the lame, or the sick, or on yourselves, for eating in your own homes, or the homes of your fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, or in homes you hold the keys to, or in the homes of your friends. There is no harm in eating together or separately. But when you enter a home, greet one another with a greeting of peace, a blessing from Allah, full of goodness. Thus, Allah makes His signs clear to you, so that you may understand. 24:61

Land

Do they not see how We reduce the land from its borders?  13:41

Sea

He is the One who merges the two seas, one fresh and sweet, the other salty and bitter, and placed between them a barrier, an impassable divide. 25:53, 27:61, 35:12, 55:19, 55:20

He made the sea serve you, so you may eat from it tender meat and extract ornaments to wear. 16:14, 35:12

From them emerge pearls and coral. 55:22

Ships

We have honoured the children of Adam, carried them on land and sea, provided them with good things, and favoured them above many of Our creations. 17:70

He made ships sail the seas by His command and rivers flow for your benefit. 14:32, 22:65, 35:12

You see ships ploughing through it as you seek His bounty, so that you may be grateful. 16:14, 17:66

And among His signs is that He sends the winds as good news, so He may grant you His mercy, and so ships may sail by His command, and so you may seek His bounty, and so you may be grateful. 30:46

He who created all pairs, and provided you with ships to ride. 43:12

And on ships, you are carried. 23:22

Among His signs are the ships sailing like mountains upon the sea. 42:32, 55:24

All upon it will perish, 55:26

But the Face of your Lord will remain Majestic. 55:27

When hardship strikes at sea, those you invoke vanish, except Him. But when He brings you safely to shore, you turn away. Man is ever ungrateful. 17:67

Do you feel secure that He will not cause the land to swallow you or send a storm upon you? 17:68

Or do you feel secure that He will not send you back to sea, unleash a violent storm upon you, and drown you for your ingratitude? 17:69

If He wills, He can still the wind, leaving them motionless upon its surface. 42:33

Indeed, the ships that sail the seas for the benefit of humanity. 2:164

Examples

You lived in the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and you saw how We dealt with them, yet you failed to take heed. 14:45

O people, a parable is set forth, listen to it: 22:73

Allah sets forth a parable: A slave owned by another, powerless to do anything, compared to one whom We have granted good provision, which he spends freely, are they equal? Praise be to Allah, but most people do not understand. 16:75

Or consider the one who passed by a ruined city and wondered, ‘How will Allah bring this back to life after its destruction?’ So, Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then revived him. Allah asked, ‘How long have you remained?’ He replied, ‘Perhaps a day or part of a day.’ Allah said, ‘No! You have remained here for a hundred years! Look at your food and drink, they have not spoiled. But now, look at your donkey! And so, We have made you a sign for humanity. Look at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh!’ When this was made clear to him, he declared, ‘Now I know that Allah is Most Capable of everything. 2:259

And Allah sets forth an example for those who believe: the wife of Pharaoh, who said, “My Lord, build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds, and rescue me from the wrongdoing people.” 66:11

He sets forth a parable for you from yourselves: Would you accept partners among those your right hands possess, equal to you in wealth, fearing them as you fear one another? 30:28

Allah presents a parable: two men, one is mute, incapable of anything, a burden on his guardian. Wherever he is sent, he brings no benefit. Can he be equal to one who commands justice and walks a straight path? 16:76

Present to them the parable of worldly life: like water We send down from the sky, absorbed by the earth’s vegetation, then it becomes dry, scattered by the wind. 18:45

The life of this world is like rain We send down, absorbed by the earth’s vegetation, which people and animals consume. But when the land is adorned and its inhabitants think they have full control, Our command comes, by night or by day, and We turn it into stubble, as if it had never flourished. 10:24

He sends down water from the sky, and valleys flow according to their measure. The torrent carries foam like the scum upon molten metal when heated for crafting ornaments or tools. Thus, Allah illustrates truth and falsehood, the foam vanishes, but what benefits people remains. This is how Allah sets forth examples. 13:17

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp enclosed in glass, the glass shining like a brilliant star, lit from a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor the west, whose oil glows even without fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. Allah sets forth parables for humanity. 24:35

Allah does not hesitate to set forth an example, even of a mosquito or something smaller. The believers recognize it as truth from their Lord, while the disbelievers question its meaning. Through such examples, Allah guides many and allows many to stray, but only the rebellious are led astray. 2:26

Those who break their covenant with Allah after affirming it, sever what He has commanded to be joined, and spread corruption on the earth. They are the true losers. 2:27

Do you not see how Allah sets forth a parable? A good word is like a sturdy tree, its roots firm, its branches reaching the sky. 14:24

It yields fruit in every season by its Lord’s permission. Allah presents examples for people so they may reflect. 14:25

But an evil word is like a rotten tree, uprooted from the earth, unstable in its place. 14:26
